In a stiff wind, when the water whips and lashes the walls
and reach into your feelings about the grave
There the names of the 9/11 dead would be inscribed on walls

visible behind the curtains of falling water
seek out a landscape designer to soften its hard edges
it was once envisioned as a new Rockefeller Center
a great urban ensemble only be one entry point to the memorial plaza
 the greenery that surrounds them

fulfill their dual mission as sacred ground and secular hangout

this is a found poem we had to do for the article we read about the nine eleven memorial. i think it was a cool idea to put to fountains exactly were the twin towers once stood and a museum in the middle. on the fountains are all the names of the victims of nine eleven except the terrorists that planned the whole attack. ground zero has basically turned into a park with one entrance until construction is complete.

i cant remember what else i typed for this because it apparently didn't upload the first time and it didn't save as a draft, i was really mad. i had to retype this whole thing and i cant remember it that sucks. so i guess ill end this post off here
